Welcome to Hope Studio

Yoga, Pilates and wellbeing in beautiful Clovelly, North Devon

Hope Studio at Clovelly was founded by Natasha Hope, a yoga and Pilates teacher with 20 years of teaching experience.

Based in the beautiful village of Clovelly in North Devon, Hope Studio is a welcoming space for yoga, Pilates and wellbeing — with classes designed to suit all ages, abilities and levels of experience.

Whether you're completely new to yoga and Pilates or have been practising for years, you'll always receive a warm welcome.

Yoga and Pilates for everybody

Natasha believes that yoga and Pilates should be enjoyable, accessible and adaptable.

You don't need to be flexible, strong or experienced to take part. Classes are thoughtfully adapted to suit the people in the room, with options offered throughout so that everyone can work at a level that feels right for them.

Beginners are particularly encouraged, and Natasha loves introducing people to yoga and Pilates for the very first time.

At the same time, experienced practitioners are never forgotten. If you've been practising for years and are ready to explore, develop or challenge yourself, Natasha will encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone.

Classes combine flowing movement, strength and flexibility with simple breathing and relaxation techniques — helping you develop your physical practice while also creating time to slow down and switch off.

Join us in Clovelly or online

Hope Studio offers 11 live classes each week in Clovelly, as well as four online classes via Zoom.

Our online classes mean you can practise with Hope Studio wherever you are. You don't need to live in Devon or Cornwall - simply find a little space at home, roll out your mat and join us.

For those who prefer face-to-face classes, our Clovelly studio provides a beautiful and welcoming space to practise, connect and meet like-minded people.

More than just a yoga studio

Hope Studio is a little different.

Alongside our weekly yoga and Pilates classes, we hold a monthly wellbeing event, with experiences such as sound baths and meditation evenings.

The studio is also home to a dedicated therapy room, where you can enjoy a range of wellbeing treatments including:

  • Indian head massage

  • Facial reflexology

  • Reiki healing

  • Chakra balancing

There's also a small wellbeing shop, where you'll find yoga and Pilates equipment and clothing alongside candles, gifts, vitamins, gummies and other carefully selected wellbeing products.

Our aim is to create a space where you can take some time for yourself — whether that's through movement, relaxation, treatment or simply finding something lovely in the shop.

Meet Natasha

With over two decades of teaching experience, Natasha brings warmth, enthusiasm and a wealth of knowledge to every class.

Alongside teaching, she is also a freelance journalist and book columnist, contributing to magazines and newspapers and writing about a wide range of health and wellbeing topics.

Her passion is helping people discover how yoga and Pilates can fit into their lives - whether that means finding strength, improving mobility, learning to breathe more consciously, taking time to relax or simply enjoying moving their body.

Come and see for yourself

Whether you're stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time, looking to develop an established practise or simply searching for a little more time for yourself, you'll find a welcoming space at Hope Studio.

Join us in Clovelly or online via Zoom.

Natasha and the Hope Studio team look forward to welcoming you soon.

Yoga Musings; flexibility

One of the things I hear a lot when I tell people that I’m a yoga teacher is; “I’d love to do yoga, but I’m not flexible enough.” I have to hold myself back from shouting; “That’s exactly WHY you do need to do it!” Because shouting isn’t really very yogic I quietly explain the…
